Canada intends to simplify the visa regime for Ukrainian Youth

The minister of affairs of a family, youth and sports Yury Pavlenko has held a meeting with the ambassador of Canada in Ukraine Daniel Karonom in which course of the party have discussed, the preparing memorandum between У­краиной and Canada concerning youth exchanges.

The minister of family affairs notices that the document, which initiative has been submitted by the Canadian party, is directed on visa regime liberalization between Ukraine and Canada regarding simplification of procedure of reception by the Ukrainian citizens by age from 18 till 35 years of the right to travel, study and work in Canada within 1 year.

Pavlenko has thanked the Canadian party for such initiative and has underlined that Minsemi supports establishment of such intergovernmental contracts in youth sphere as one of the most numerical Ukrainian communities lives in Canada.

In turn Karon has noticed that Canada has concluded similar agreements already with 19 countries, and also has informed that such agreements with Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia are almost signed.
